SAVIGNO TRUFFLE
The High Samoggia Valley boasts the peculiar combination of elements that lies behind the TRUFFLE origin; Savigno, in particular, is considered “the Regional Capital of the Precious White Truffle of the Bolognese Hills” due to its woods and clean air.
This truffle is one of the most selected and aromatic qualities and ripens between September and December in those flourishing woods. That’s why every year in November Savigno and its surroundings host the “The National Precious White Truffle Festival” where stands give the numerous visitors the chance to taste and buy the precious tuber.
