From Florence: Motorway exit: Bologna-Casalecchio, then take Bologna bypass (“tangenziale”) exit N°3 that leads you into the 568 state road to San Giovanni in Persiceto.
From Milan: Motorway exit: Modena-Nord, then take Modena bypass (“tangenziale”) and you turn into the 255 state road exit to Nonantola; otherwise: Motorway exit Bologna-Borgo Panigale, then take Bologna bypass (“tangenziale”) San Giovanni in Persiceto exit that leads you into the 568 state road.
From Mantua: Motorway exit: Campogalliano, then take Modena bypass (“tangenziale”) exit that leads you into the 255 state road to Nonantola.
From Ferrara: Motorway exit: Bologna-Interporto, then take provincial road N° 3 (“trasversale di pianura”) towards Sala Bolognese and San Giovanni in Persiceto.
From Rimini: Motorway exit: Bologna-San Lazzaro, then take Bologna bypass (“tangenziale”) towards Casalecchio and turn into exit N°3 leading you into the 568 state road to San Giovanni in Persiceto.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
It takes 20 minutes to get to San Giovanni in Persiceto both from Bologna and Modena. It takes about 40 minutes from Ferrara.
